The Federal Government has pronounced Tuesday, fifth and Wednesday, sixth July, 2016 as open occasion to stamp Eid-el Fitri Celebrations.
This was contained in an announcement issued in Abuja and marked by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr Basse Akpayung.
The announcement said the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd), who made the assertion in the interest of the Federal Government, "charged all Muslim unwavering and Nigerians when all is said in done to broaden the profound advantages of Ramadan, which are affection, peace and equity to their every day living and through this add to the advancement of the country".
He asked "Nigerians to utilize the chance of this otherworldly restoration to consider the basic of solidarity and serene concurrence in fortifying the obligation of fellowship for a solid, virile Nation.
While wishing Nigerians a serene festival, Dambazau encouraged aggregate backing for President Muhammadu Buhari's admitted determination to hand down to the country a persisting political legacy.
